Marisa Goodwin, M.A., BCBA, LBA
Program Specialist for the Academy Program
Marisa began her career in high school as a teacher’s aide at a camp for children with special needs. She immediately fell in love with the field of behavior analysis and spent the following 10 years working with individuals diagnosed with autism and related needs. During this time, she also sought to learn as much as she could about the field and earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Florida and her Master of Arts in Behavior Analysis from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, ultimately culminating in her earning her BCBA in 2019. While at UHCL, Marisa conducted research to teach conversation skills to adults with autism and had the opportunity to share this information at two behavior-analytic conferences. She also served as an ABA therapist at the focused-intervention clinic, a behavior intern for a local school district, and the coordinator/transition specialist for a college program serving students with autism.
Marisa joined the Endeavor Team in June of 2019 as the Program Specialist for the Academy Program. She seeks to provide quality training to caregivers and staff, create a positive environment that is conducive to teaching and learning, and ensure that each student is achieving their goals in the program, working towards transition into public or private school.
